Share This.If you haven’t met Gazelle, you haven’t met awesome. The Cape Town based duo aren’t exactly the newest kids on the block but let’s put it like this, they don’t have a Wiki page; which means they are relatively new to anyone who almost strictly listen to radio. But if you are into Zef, you will definitely dig these two. Gazelle is comprised of Xander Ferreira and the mums DJ Read More

Share This.Liqen is a street artist from Mexico City. He’s super talent and we had no choice but to bring you his latest project. “This April I was invited by the “Collectivo Tomate” to paint a mural on a recovery project Xanenetla neighborhood, a neighborhood with lots of history to Mexico in the city of Puebla. It was a good opportunity to return to Mexico. ”Elotl” in pre-Hispanic Nahuatl language, corn Read More

Share This.Gold is now staring at the Rs 30,000 per 10 gram mark for the first time after equalling the previous record of Rs 29,540 on Saturday. Just when people had started writing it off, the precious metal has staged a comeback, rising nearly Rs 550 per 10 gram over the last week, largely due to the low faith that investors have in the economy. Although internationally gold is trading Read More

Share This.Quiet Lunch enjoys adding members to its band of miscreants; so, with no further ado, say, ‘Ay, vato.’ to our newest staff member Carly Sioux! Carly Sioux is a brilliant photog but, MORE IMPORTANTLY, she is an exquisite photo essayist who uses her lens to capture carefree mayhem and warm introspection. In essence, she isn’t just some sassy jabroni with a camera. She is an artist armed with a third Read More

Share This.Jadakiss is gearing up for a 2012 studio album release and he was grateful enough to give his fans a free appetizer. Usually when an artist does this, it comes off like a halfhearted 13 track promo but J-to-the-Muah uses this platform to go in and prove to his fans –old and new– that he is indeed the “Top 5 Dead or Alive.” Heavy with gun talk and drug Read More

Share This. The illustration of Aad Goudappel is simplistic but still drives home a particular message. Based in the Netherlands, Goudappel’s work plays coy while revealing a bedrock of social commentary that is all too real.

Soft (Yan)ding.

Share This.Yan Nascimbene‘s work is serenity at best. Great for a Sunday — or any day for that matter. The French illustrator’s work is lackadaisical but collected. It sacrifices detail in the name of the overall effect; an effect that fosters a comforting moment of reflection.   But Nascimbene’s work is not without its message. He is fully capable of washing off the sugary coat and delivering something powerful.
