The modernization of vintage fear, that is Clay Lipsky‘s forte. Forever enthralled with the Cold War era in which he grew up in, Lipsky is using his Atomic Overlook series to revisit his childhood.

But this isn’t just about Lipsky’s enchantment with the Cold War era, Atomic Overlook is a satirical examination of modern age voyeurism–a voyeurism that leads to an eventual desensitization. The series recontextualizes the idea of nuclear testing, using that process to remind his audience that nuclear testing is alive and well.
