We absolutely adore Duane Michals. He is a master of sequences, a manipulator of frames. We recently discovered the his 1989 piece, Grandpa Goes to Heaven, and we thought we should share it with our readers. A majority of us have had to deal with a death in our families, and Michal’s photographic tale is a comforting account of what can be a traumatizing ordeal.
