Kenzo, the fashion house of Takada Kenzo, has called upon artist Quentin Jones to cast her vision for the Women’s Pre-FALL/ Winter 2012 collection. This collaboration resulted in a 2 minute video stacked with tight fashion and bold colors. Jones inserts her surreal perspective and reminiscently Dadaist style into the Kenzo brand.
Her dreamlike, and often cartoonish, animated figures have won her notice leading to collaborations with Chanel, Victoria Beckham, Vogue, and AnOther magazine. The film-maker began her career as a philosophy graduate from Cambridge University. Eventually she was propelled to art, graduating with a MA in Illustration from London’s Central St. Martins College.
