New York City is often considered to be the home of rap music and now, thanks to this brilliant map of the stars that we poached from Very Small Array, we can know the origins of some rap’s most memorable practitioners.

Note: There are about 42 million rapper that have originated and resided in New York City so the map doesn’t necessarily include every single rapper to hail from Gotham. Which means you will not see your homeboy Young Gunshot anywhere on this map.
