Who is Mr. Blick? For all we know, he could be Jimmy Hoffa but as of right now, he is a brilliant artist who is familiar with the contrast of war and peace. Harkening back to October 21, 1967 when Vietnam protesters placed flowers in the barrels of MP’s rifles, Blick’s mixed media collages replaces weaponry with beautiful flowers.
Despite his strong footing in film, Blick is very much an all around artist. The French filmmaker’s portfolio reveals that he also “dabbles” in mixed media collage and typography.
