If you have yet to hear Janelle Monáe & Erykah Badu’s “Q.U.E.E.N.”, punch yourself in the face. It seems like this marriage should have happened ages ago, but with Monáe’s new album on the horizon, the timing couldn’t be better. Monáe recently explained the origin of the song via twitter:
“Q.U.E.E.N. was inspired by private discussions between Erykah and me. It is meant to make you JAM. DANCE. FUNK OUT. and dialogue later…”
