Paying homage to Mr. Kennedy — whom happens to be the founder of the modern day shoelace — the company has forged laces made purely of silver and gold. Using ancient techniques, the laces are manufactured in the middle of Colombia’s Gold Belt; less than 10 miles away from where they are mined.
