This isn’t the first time we have seen magnetism integrated into household furniture. But the more examples we see, the more advance the marriage becomes. The Float Table, a perfect example of that advancement, applies classical physics applied to modern design. Repelling wooden cubes are held in equilibrium by a system of tense steel cables, giving the appearance of levitation. Surprisingly, RockPaperRobot makes these table by hand.
