Madelynn Holmes, a young illustrator from Sydney, explores the permanent effects of human interaction in her series One In Another. An abstract Frankenstein of personal relationships, the subjects in Holmes’ work seems vulnerable but unaffected. Holmes stated that the purpose of the series was to show “how people inevitably leave imprints on you and become part of you.”
