We headed over to the ROX to check out their highly anticipated exhibit, Who Shot Natalie White? Centered around the freewheeling mega-muse, Natalie White, the exhibit is a collection of photographs, paintings, and video installations, most bearing the image of White. Curated by Gregory de la Haba, the exhibit consists of pieces by a slew of artists, including White, and the legendary photographer who discovered her, Peter Beard.
[divider]SPONSORED AD[/divider] [divider][/divider]The whole experience oozes sex, but delivers a broader message of primal fearlessness and self-realization.The ROX was abuzz with dignified voyeurs, press, and a wealth of curious pedestrians who wandered in, in search of something real. NYPD officers were primed to shut down the festivities, but were charmed by White’s uncanny feminine wiles.
Quiet Lunch was amidst all the hubbub, and out of the sea of people, we plucked ROX Director, Emerald Fitzgerald, curator, Gregory de la Haba, and the unicorn in the room, Natalie White herself, to discuss the collection of works and the meaning behind Who Shot Natalie White?
Be sure to head down to ROX NYC to see the exhibit for yourself. For uncensored material, visit the Quiet Lunch Tumblr.
