We reach the final chapter of our journey through the CMJ marathon and despite this having the feel of a sobering ending, the panels were actually one of our first stops. At first, we had no intention of filming. We were more interested in soaking up the valuable insight and the wise words that came along with it. To be honest, we didn’t think our readers would want to hear celebrities and artists blather on about their craft–but after hearing Sway and Young Guru go back and forth, we thought, “Shit, who wouldn’t want to hear about celebrities and artists blather on about their craft?”
After all, the panels provided us a chance to hear it from the horse’s mouth. With the Sway and Young Guru discussion already behind us, we committed ourselves to capturing the next two panels.
The first panel that we had the opportunity to film featured the likes of Miz Metro, Power, Joe Ahearn, Keith Shocklee, and New Villager. The second panel featured our good friend Jamieson Hill, along with other famed DJs like Mia Moretti, DJ J-S1, Roi Hernandez, and Rob Principe.
