0102000Artist Francis Baker is an artist who doesn’t just create to inspire, he creates to bring pertinent sociopolitical issues to the forefront — and not just sociopolitical issues but issues that affect the human condition overall. Baker explains the idea behind Armament, a current work in progress:
“I created this work, inspired by the Egyptians and the ‘Arab spring’. The visual starting point is the molotov cocktail that has been the weapon of choice for the protesters. There is a connection in any conflict between the combatants.”
