jeffstaple is at it again with the newly unveiled PROJECT/reed. PROJECT/reed was an installation created for the PROJECT tradeshow in Las Vegas and curated by jeffstaple and Reed Space. The exhibit was conceptualized as an archive of highly-coveted limited edition releases from the street culture world displayed as artifacts in a museum.
“One of the things I wanted to address in PROJECT/reed was bringing the virtual and the digital to a physical world. A lot of these things, you really see it on a website or a magazine and you never get to see the real thing. I think a lot of the craftsmanship and the time and effort that it takes to make these things gets lost, so I wanted that to be on display. I think people are really blown away by some of the things they see in real life.”
