We’ve been a going a mile a minute here at Quiet Lunch and we finally decided to stop and smell the roses. So, instead of  a weekly issue, we are now switching to a bi-weekly schedule. It won’t be any less engaging than our usual timetable, just a bit more thoughtful.

This issue sees the debut of “The First Act:…”, a column where our editor at large, Matia Guardabascio, scours the musical landscape for local and/or undiscovered talent and gives them the modest spotlight that they truly deserve. The column inaugural edition will feature New Jersey duo, Hunter & Wolfe. The group, photographed by Dan Bracaglia, appears on our cover.

We also take a look at Phigvel & Co.’s Fall/Winter 2013 Lookbook and provide some style tips of own with our Fall Threads: A Series of Items for Any Guy’s Wardrobe–and last but not least, writer Francine Lucas recounts her poetic encounter with Ephex in Union Square Park last summer and Raj Gopal highlights the artistic musings of Magdalena Kapinos!

P.S. – We know that you guys will miss our weekly pestering but consider this to be a fresh start. Look at this way, now we have more time to dick around and do nothing.

Unflinchingly Yours,

Quiet Lunch Staff.

Stay Tuned!
