Eat Your Peace. | Shinan-ji Temple Rock Garden.

Relaxation and sustenance are basic desires for almost any human being, and designer Tomonori Saito has found a clever way to combine the two. Saito teamed up with fellow designer Shohei Sawada, and confectioner Motohiro Inaba to create the Shinan-ji Temple Rock Garden, an edible rock garden that nurtures you zen and your hunger.

Despite having the appearance and functionality of a rock garden, the rocks are actually made from black sesame and the sand is made from sugar.
